The portfolio typically consists of twenty five to thirty five stocks, with fifty to seventy percent of the investment in relatively large and liquid companies. Investment strategies are undertaken with complete independence and whilst we draw on numerous external resources as part of the process, investment decisions are generated internally. 

The way we construct our portfolio without any consideration to the benchmark is rare for an Australian equity manager.

Additionally the number of companies we hold in our portfolio is less than the average Australian equity fund.

This combined with our focus on investing only in the best shares based purely on investment principles has lead to significant out performance when measured against the index and our Australian share fund peers.
